Every January, you should update your copyright website footer year.

And while you’re at it, why don’t you give your entire website a nice dust-off and make some other minor updates to keep bringing in business.

You want website visitors to know your site is current and up-to-date… and if it says “Copyright © 2021” at the bottom, someone might assume you’re not actively doing business and exit out.

It’s a quick update that only takes a minute, but it makes you look more professional and could increase your revenue in the long-run.

2. Update your years of experience

It’s easy to overlook this detail, so make sure you check throughout your website for to make this update (your About page, Contact page, any socials you link out to, etc.).

Why? Every year under your belt helps convince someone that you’re the perfect fit for them to work with!

3. Evaluate your website analytics

If you’re not tracking your website analytics, then you’re just making guesses on what’s working or not working… and guesses don’t pay the bills.

Take time this month to look at your site’s most important analytics over the last year so you can make those lucrative updates.
