Branding + website projects for late summer launches

Your webpage’s call to action needs this

If you’ve got an important call to action on your webpage, you need it to grab people’s attention.

You’ve spent a lot of time (and probably money) developing your product, service, or whatever — and the worst thing that could happen is people don’t notice where to take the next step on your website.

You shouldn’t just link text for your call to action — you need a button.

Let me give you 3 reasons why:

1. It’s more attention-grabbing ?

A button takes up more real estate on the screen than linked text. So just by nature of being largest on the screen, it’s more likely to draw someone’s attention.

Think about it: when you visit someone’s sales page, where’s the first place your eyes go? Probably to the huge button on the screen that says “buy now” or “sign up.”

2. It’s easier to click on mobile

Do you ever think about what device people are visiting your website from?

More than half of all users visit websites from their mobile device or tablet — and almost all do if you’re driving traffic from Instagram.

So you want to make it as easy as possible for someone’s finger to “join the waitlist” or “get it now” — and a button does that ??

3. It just makes sense

Think about when you’re checking out at the grocery store or buying gas.

What’s the biggest button on the sales screen? Usually, it’s the one that lets you complete the transaction.

Any big action requires a big button ✅

I'm Felter, and I'm the designer that non-designers love!

Why? Because good design is the difference between your ideal person scrolling past your post or actually taking action.

I used to work the 9-5 grind in the corporate world – like I was “supposed to” – until I blew it all up to do it my own way.

Now, I help non-designers, service providers, and business owners use good design in their branding, website, and content to book more clients and make more sales!
